As a general guide, a private China tour for two travelers typically starts from around RMB 1,500–2,500 (USD 210–350) per person per day, depending on the destination, trip length, accommodation, guide language, and activities. Remote regions and premium hotels may cost more. Tell us your travel dates and ideas, and we’ll provide a detailed itinerary and quotation with clear inclusions.
For most of our destinations, spring (April–June) and autumn (September–October) offer some of the best travel conditions. Western Sichuan is especially beautiful from late spring through autumn, while Xinjiang is ideal for summer landscapes and Tibet has different highlights throughout the warmer months. The best time ultimately depends on where you want to go and what you want to experience.
Yes. English-speaking local guides are available throughout our private journeys. We can also arrange guides in other languages, including Spanish, Italian, and others, depending on the destination and availability. Let us know your preferred language when planning your trip.
Our high-altitude journeys are planned with gradual acclimatization in mind. Whenever possible, we begin at lower elevations and increase altitude progressively rather than moving directly to the highest areas. We also balance driving time and rest, and carry emergency oxygen on relevant high-altitude journeys.
